We started out as a property management company in Eastern Kentucky. One issue that continually plagued us was that there always seemed to be a problem with the roofs on our properties. More specifically, flat roofs, and flat roof contractors that would not stand behind their warranties, or use just plain poor materials. So, as a response to our on-going roofing issues, we created JBK Roofing Division in 1997 in Corbin, KY. Through our own hard-learned experiences we solved these roof problems and what we learned became the basis for how we relate to our clients - excellent materials, excellent workmanship, competitive price. Over the years we have grown into a roofing company that owns multiple facilities for a wide range of roofing services.

We specialize in commercial and industrial flat roofing systems and the related sheet metal for our clients throughout the mid-South.  The main roof system that we install, and the only one we use on our buildings is Duro-Last®. We are certified as an Elite Contractor by Duro-Last® which means we have to maintain very stringent quality standards and achieve specific quantity goals, each and every year.

We are members in the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Kentucky Roofing Contractors Association. We are certified roofing contractors in the KRCA, which means that we are bonded and fully insured.

Our client list ranges from the Army Corps or Engineers, to school systems, retail stores, large commercial properties, industrial buildings, and several restaurant chains.
